Cultural Guest Program

For several years WDA has participated in a Cultural Guest program. In this way, our students are introduced to a variety of cultures in a dynamic way. Projects about our cultural guests’ homes are integrated into classrooms and guests lead special learning activities. Both students and guests learn about each other and each other’s culture through their interactions.

On October 15th, we welcomed Maiko Watanabe and her two daughters, Christina and Noel, from Japan. We look forward to learning about their language and culture.
