Cultural Guest Program

For several years WDA has participated in a Cultural Guest program. In this way, our students are introduced to a variety of cultures in a dynamic way. Projects about our cultural guests’ homes are integrated into classrooms and guests lead special learning activities. Both students and guests learn about each other and each other’s culture through their interactions.

For the 2008-09 school year, our guest was Danli Xiong from China. Ms. Danli assisted in the classrooms and taught students about the Chinese language and culture. She was a wonderful addition to the WDA community. We look forward to our next guest for ongoing cultural enrichment to benefit our students and staff.
